Art supporting the cause against the violence suffered by women

The violence is a big problem around the world nowadays, specially against woman. According to UN, violence affects the lives of millions of women worldwide in all classes. Domestic violence, early marriage, abortion and rape are the main kind of abuse suffered by women in all societies. To support this cause against the violence suffered by women, a set of artists are exposing theirs artworks in Ferrara, Italy. The exhibition is called "L'arte contro la Violenza e il Dolore" (Art Against Pain and Violence). The art is surely a form to show or maybe reveal this big problem. It is a opportunity to discuss the cause and find solutions. Among the painters/artists in the exposition are Roberto Rossi, Raffaele Quida, Mario di Giulio and others.
